Progress with Famine

Hello heart warmers!

The Occupy movement is pretty impressive. There is a great deal of speculation about what the results will be. As is the way, we sometimes don’t find out how our actions, as good as they are, effect the world.

Good news on that front then, in the form of a Facebook update from the organization ONE. Source of good news was Reuters. Their source.

‎New report says the annual number of children who die before they reach age 5 is shrinking, falling to 7.6 million global deaths in 2010 from more than 12 million in 1990.

We can and will talk more later about making the world a better place. For now, though, we can feel motivated by this statistic. Don’t get sad, get active. Peacefully. This can be a new era. Love!
